About The Programme

STPI returns to Art Basel Miami Beach for its 2025 edition with works by Ashley Bickerton, Teresita Fernández and Do Ho Suh. Internationally acclaimed, their works are held in major collections such as the Museum of Modern Art, New York and Tate, London. The presentation explores physical environments and psychological landscapes through their print and paper works. 

Ashley Bickerton’s 2002 residency at STPI marked the technical debut of extensive paper casts and moulds in the Workshop, producing an eclectic range of textured paper pulp works reflecting on dystopic visions marked by excess and cultural dislocation. 

Recently commissioned for the Hawai’i Triennial 2025, Teresita Fernández utilises the grandeur of natural landscapes to investigate power, visibility and erasure. Her STPI residency resulted in the Night Writing series, where handmade paper pulp works feature luminous images of Braille-like constellations in the night sky.  

Through over a decade of close collaboration with STPI, Do Ho Suh has developed an important body of works on paper that explore the psychological mapping of home. A selection of these cyanotypes and thread drawings will be on view at the booth, following his recent solo exhibition Walk the House at Tate Modern, London. 

Works by Heman Chong, Ryan Gander and Jason Martin will also be presented.
